The semester has started.
What do I need to know?

Follow the mobility procedures

1 Follow these steps

Send your arrival certificate, duly filled for digital certification, to ero@uac.pt;
Pay for your insurance (3,05€) by credit card or bank transfer;
Acess Inforestudante and complete all the necessary steps. Check your student number;
Contact your Erasmus Coordinator by e-mail;
Read the Student´s Handbook carefully, section “Arriving at the UAc”;
Access your timetable at Inforestudante.

2 Student card

Your student card is very important to enter the campus and the student residence. In Ponta Delgada campus, you must buy your meals for the canteen and the the laundry tickets for Laranjeiras’ Residence. Always carry it with you in a visible place.

Your student card will be delivered by the academic services upon notification.

While waiting for your student card, you may request a provisional card at the social services (telma.sd.tavares@uac.pt).

144 rooms with private WC, in 4 buildings, plus one room for special needs students, a couple's room and a multipurpose facilitiy.

Each building has:

a study room and a TV room;
equiped kitchens with TV, stove, refrigerator, freezer and microwave oven.

Laundry facilities with washing and dryer machines.

Cafeteria at school of Health – 08h00 to 17h00, only for nursing students
Cafeteria at Science Building – 08h00 às 18h00, for students from the School of Science and Technology

Book your meal here or at the kiosk nex to the canteen with your student card.*

The canteen has limited seats. You must buy your meal until the night before.

* First, you must activate and top up your card at the kiosk. You will wait some time for your student card. Meanwhile, you may buy a temporary one (5€ refundable) at the Social Services.
