If you are enrolled in a University or College from North America, you may come and study for a semester, a year or a summer course at the University of the Azores (UAc), or do full-time (300 hours) or part-time (150 hours) internships in the Azores, as a SiPN student, as long as your university/college has a signed agreement with the Luso-American Development Foundation (FLAD) for this purpose.

SiPN (Study in Portugal Network) is a study abroad program fully designed for North-American students. It is managed by the non-profit FLAD, with the support from the Portuguese Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the US Embassy in Portugal and the Fulbright Commission in Portugal.
