The University of the Azores offers you a significant number of masters in many different fields, providing you several options to get a successful academic career and increase your job opportunities. Our programs guarantee excellent training conditions in different fields of knowledge, assured by our schools and research centres.
Master Degree programs last four semesters, providing 120 ECTS credits. These programs include a set of courses and a scientific dissertation, an internship report or a project work.
Students who approve in all courses only obtain a specialization diploma. Those who also approve in their dissertation, internship report or project work, get their Master’s Degree.

REQUIREMENTS
To be admitted to a master, you must fulfil one of the following requirements:
- Hold a licence/undergraduate degree or legal equivalent in one of the fields required in each master’s entrance conditions;
- Have an academic, scientific or professional curriculum that the University of the Azores acknowledges as proof of ability to complete the program.
