The University of the Azores has signed an agreement with Santander Bank that allows Latin American students to apply for a grant to study at the UAc for a semester or a year.
Get in touch with the International Relations Office at your University and find out if your university has an agreement with Santander too and with the University of Azores.
REQUIREMENTS
You can apply for a mobility Santander Mobility to study at the University of the Azores (UAc) for a semester if:
- You are taking an undergraduate or master program in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain or Uruguay
AND
- you must apply for Santander scholarships at your university to obtain a mobility grant.
APPLICATION & DEADLINES
Information for partners:
Student Nominations should be sent to the email ero@uac.pt on the following dates:
1st semester / full academic year: until 31 May
2nd semester: until 31 October.
For students:
After being accepted at your university to obtain a Santander scholarship, your university must send your nomination to us by email.
To submit your application you must follow the steps indicated in the online application guide.
Make sure you attach all documents required.
Your Learning Agreement must indicate the subjects that you want to enroll in at the UAc as well as the equivalent ones at your university. You should select courses that may grant you the equivalent of 30 ECTS per semester.

- 1st semester or full academic year: May 1 to June 30.
